I have a mint black 1971 Fender Telecaster with ohsc for trade. I bought the guitar from the brother of the original owner. He's a friend who didn't play but his brother passed and he was selling the guitar as part of the estate. The guitar was bought new from Arts Music Shop in Dothan al in 1971 shortly after moving here from what I understand. The Guitar is in excellent cosmetic shape with all of the original electronics, pickups, and original ashtray cover in the same condition as the guitar which is rare that it survived over 50 years. The guitar also includes the original packing slip and original hangtag with serial number inside. The guitar was recently sent to Carters Vintage Guitar in Nashville TN, and was evaluated by them. They said there is another color under the black. Either red or a shoreline gold but it wasnt uncommon for a painted body at the factory to be resprayed for a custom color before it went out. The guitar does have a 4 bolt 1 piece solid maple neck and fingerboard before Fender went to the 3 bolt on alot of guitars in the mid 70s. It's as clean as anyone could ask for to be a 55 year old guitar and the case is in as equally nice condition. I bought the guitar to keep and still may but I wanted to see what trades are out there. I'm mainly looking for American newer or vintage guitars and Amplifiers. If you're looking for a vintage tele that won't break the bank and has sustain for days then let me know. Trade plus cash and cash offers are welcome as well.
