Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Technician to install, inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced installing fire alarms, devices, sensors, controls and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and repair fire alarm and fire suppression systems
Conduct routine inspections and testing in compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations
Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports
Communicate findings and recommendations to clients clearly and professionally
Ensure all work meets safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
Experience in fire protection systems, alarm systems, or related field preferred
Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire safety regulations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
Relevant certifications (NICET or similar) are a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and outdoors
